The CP Pistons forged piston and ring set is engineered for Toyota 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE engines featuring an 86.5mm bore and +0.5mm over-size.

While the piston forgings are capable of supporting 1000+ HP, the standard shelf kit includes 0.150-inch wall thickness wrist pins rated up to 800-900 HP. Pushing beyond 1000 HP requires upgrading to Heavy Duty (HD) tool steel wrist pins (such as CP part # 866-2250-20 CP 3C) to prevent pin flex and catastrophic bore ovaling.
